Ex-site

There are many historic buildings in Victoria, and they have witnessed the history of Victoria's development. But these buildings are now so neglected that many people do not understand or even know of their existence. Ex-site is an installation project initiated to promote these historic buildings. The stories behind these historic buildings cannot be reflected on the surface of the buildings, so the main goal of the project is to evoke the stories behind these buildings. The arches and pavilions were constructed with the most common arch elements of traditional Victorian buildings and skeletonized with slogans of events that actually happened inside the buildings throughout history. When the sunlight falls on these arches and pavilions, the light will fall through the cutouts to create shadows on the ground. As people walk through or use these installations, the shadows evoke their interest in the history of the building.
